In-depth training

Development and training of our staff is central to the effective provision of clinical care, so we provide highly developed training packages to all staff, at every organisational level.

The in-depth training we provide for staff helps ensure that clients are given the best possible care and service, but we also believe in providing this training so that our staff can benefit from it. We are an ambitious company who believe in developing our own staff and giving them every opportunity to progress their own careers, whilst having a positive impact on the lives of the patients they will work with.

Choosing to pursue a career at InVent Health is highly rewarding for a number of reasons. Not only will you see first-hand the positive impact you have on the lives of the clients you work with, but you will have the opportunity to grow with the company and fulfil your own personal potential.

Employee benefits

Working at InVent Health comes with a great human resources structure, incorporating everything from sick pay and a great pension scheme to accident insurance.

We understand that the staff are what makes this business what it is. Without our staff we wouldn’t be able to be a part of so many people’s personal success stories with regard to the adversity they face by helping them on the way to a better quality of life.

In line with our overarching outlook surrounding the improvement of quality of life for clients, we also believe in providing our staff with the highest possible quality of life, and take the measures needed to make sure we achieve this.

Staff support

The appropriate mechanisms are in place within the company to ensure that all staff receive the support and supervision necessary to work to the best of their ability and progress their careers.

Every level of our business features healthcare professionals who were also once in the position where they were learning the ropes and making the first steps towards a career in healthcare. The experience within the company is something we value greatly and have felt the benefit from for several years.

Whether it’s via formal training or an informal chat, it can be guaranteed that a career at InVent Health comes hand-in-hand with the support and advice needed to fully fulfil your potential.

Variety of shift patterns

A wide array of shift patterns are available at InVent Health due to our commitment to providing a 24-hour on-call service to our clients based on their individual needs.

This commitment means that we are always on the lookout for staff that are available for a wide variety of different shift patterns, from early shifts and day shifts to night shifts.

We care about our staff and understand that everyone has commitments outside of work. As much as is possible, we will strive to find a fit between your other commitments and your work, and build a shift pattern around those commitments whilst still offering a fulfilling and rewarding career.

Team meetings

We highly value the team at InVent Health and therefore hold regular team meetings, where we hold an open forum on the company vision and work together to identify new ways to fulfill it.

Our staff at InVent Health are very important to the company, and are the driving force behind any success we have seen and will see in the future. Therefore, their input towards the strategic direction of our company is highly valued and sought on a regular basis.

Working at InVent Health means you can make a difference on a daily basis with the clients you work with, but also on a long-term strategic level, not only for clients, but for the company as a whole.

Job security

The contracts we offer staff at InVent Health ensure both security and stability, laying the foundations for a successful, lengthy career.

We don’t believe in casual work and expect our staff to be fully committed to the company and the clients they work with on a daily basis. If we are to expect this kind of commitment from our staff, then equally we have to show the same level of commitment to them.

By offering staff stable jobs upon which a long and fruitful career can be built, we believe this is the first step towards building the staff base that can be the embodiment of this company’s values and commit to improving the quality of life of our clients on a daily basis.

A day in the life of..

A health care support worker

My name is Chazelle Hellqvist and I have been a Health Care Support Worker with InVent Health for just over a year now. I still enjoy my job as much as the first day I started!

I have been working in care for the last 5 years but have found the past year the most fulfilling. Working for InVent Health has been satisfying in more than just my professional life. My home life is tricky with my husband being in the Armed Forces, meaning he goes away often and usually at a moment’s notice. InVent Health has been so accommodating and supportive when this has happened, adjusting shifts and phoning to make sure I’m alright on my own, InVent Health has really been unlike any other employer I have ever had.

Working with a ventilated patient requires constant concentration and observation. The training you receive before being able to work on your own is detailed and intense so you know exactly what you are doing and you are confident in doing it. I work as part of a wonderful team and everyone I work with is so caring and always willing to swap a shift if they can, they feel like family to me in many ways. This a challenging role with each day being very different from the next. I get a wonderfully warm and fuzzy feeling knowing the care and support I have provided to my patients has contributed to them flourishing and the continual improvement of their well-being.
